It is common knowledge that the
horror genre is one of the most popular among the audiences, especially the old
horror films, since the actual horror movies shows fear that even generates
laughter.
Its release in the 70's caused an
overwhelming acceptance by the public and also critics, who ended up
considering it as one of the best films in history of its kind.
The tape recounts the diabolical possession of Regan MacNeil, a twelve-year-old girl who
led a normal life, but starts playing with a table of spiritism ("OUIJA"). She gets in
touch with a demon, who ends up owning her, pulling her off of her childhood and
leading her to suffer fierce demonic attacks that endanger her life and her family’s.
Her mother, a famous
actress, takes her to numerous doctors, but she realizes that the solution is with
the church. She contacts a priest who decides to practice
an exorcism to
free Regan from the demon that torments her .
