Narcos is an original netflix
series that managed to captivate me not only for the background of the story,
but for the fascinating performances, striking localities and the crude reality
of drug trafficking that emerged in the Colombia of the 1980s.
Starring the Brazilian actor
Wagner Moura in the skin of the main character, Pablo Escobar, this drama
portrays the fierce struggle of the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) and
the Colombian authorities against the Medellin drug cartel, The most lucrative
and relentless organization in modern criminal history.
Narcos describes from multiple
points of view - police, political, judicial and personal - the rise of cocaine
trafficking and the bloody iron arm at the service of drug traffickers who
control the market with violence and ingenuity.
If you are a fan of police
action, this tv show should consider it on your list. I give it 4 stars.
